Purpose
The
challenges facing African-American males are significant indeed. Whether
it is high rates of unemployment, gun violence, disease, divorce, or
incarceration, we seem to be surrounded by perils with no way out. These
issues create a climate in our community which cannot be allowed to
exist any longer without serious efforts by the church to reverse these
trends.
We are
created in the image of God, and for HIS pleasure and it is God on whom
we must rely. The M & M Ministry will focus on building an overall
relationship with JESUS CHRIST. In addition, it shall create a forum for
men to fellowship with each other, learn from each other, and grow
together. We ask you to join us on this journey. We, by the grace of
God, shall reclaim our self-esteem, families, and position of leadership
in this community.
