Program Description

Learn to Learn is a grassroots (faith-based) program. It seeks to build a learning culture, within the black community, that demands academic excellence.  We must confront and debunk any notion that mediocre performance is acceptable on any level (k-12; college and/or post-graduate). 

Our strategy is to teach that doing your very best is actually part of fulfilling God’s purpose for your life.  You are expected to use your talents and abilities in a way that brings glory to Him.

Our measures of success will include improved standardized tests scores, increased AP course participation rates, reduced HS dropout rates, increased HS graduation rates with a standard diploma and improved college entrance and graduation rates.

Our children must learn to effectively compete in each of the above areas.
