Carderius Q. Johnson

 Carderius is the son of Minister Michael and Beverly Tyler.  He received his elementary education at Pine Grove and Werner Park Elementary Schools.  He then went on to attend Turner Middle School.  After completing middle school, he attended C. E. Byrd High School.  While at Byrd, he was a member of the Chemistry Club, the Ring Staff and Top Jackets.  He was on the Year Book Committee and he was in the
C. E. Byrd Orchestra and was a member of the Ark-La-Tex Youth Symphony. 

Carderius was also enrolled in the Math and Science Magnet Program.  He also completed dual enrollment through Louisiana State University, where he earned 9 credit hours upon his graduation from high school in May of 2009.  Carderius graduated with a 4.2 GPA.   

Carderius will attend Northwestern State University in the fall, where he will be enrolled in the Louisiana Scholars College. 
He plans to pursue a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology/Pre Medicine, with a concentration in Cardiopulmonary Medicine.   

  Carderius is active at Avenue in the Firm Foundation Ministry, Youth Choir, Usher Ministry and the M & M Ministry. 
He attends Bible Study, Sunday School and participate in various other classes, projects and activities throughout the year.
